The system is powered by a 3.6 GHz Intel Core i7-9700K Eight-Core processor, which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If more power is needed, the CPU can deliver extra performance by increasing its clock speed up to 5.0 GHz utilizing Intel’s Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 32GB of Ram, allowing the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and to quickly access frequently-used files and programs. The system’s memory can be upgraded to 64GB by using a 16GB chip in each of the four 288-pin DIMM slots.
For term storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD + 2TB Hard Drive. If you want to add external storage drives, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, or other peripherals, the OMEN Obelisk features one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port and six USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics card has 6gb of GDDR6 and delivers a sharp, clear picture, while allowing for multiple simultaneous displays to be used via its three DisplayPort and one HDMI outputs at resolutions up to 7680 x 4320. The graphics card also has a VirtualLink port, which uses USB Type-C to power and drive virtual reality headsets.
Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, DTS Headphone:X technology and 5.1-channel surround sound output high-definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers. Wired connectivity is achieved using the integrated Gigabit Ethernet port, or take advantage of Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless network and peripheral connectivity.
